Part of BCW’s KeyBank Speaker Series, the panel includes New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson, White Plains Mayor Thomas Roach, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, and Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Thomas. The event is titled, “Westchester’s Booming Urban Centers.”
“We are very pleased and honored to have such a distinguished panel to discuss this important and timely trend that is transforming our county’s largest cities into vibrant urban centers,” said BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon. “This program will explore the various development projects under way in these cities and the outlook for development in 2016 and beyond.”
Among the major projects to be discussed are a $250 million residential development that recently broke ground in White Plains; a $197 million proposal on the Yonkers waterfront; a redevelopment plan for downtown New Rochelle; and an $85 million residential tower set to begin construction in Mount Vernon.
The event will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown. Admission for the program is $60 for members and $80 for non-members.
